# Ajax Search

The Divi Ajax Search module allows users to add a dynamic, real-time search bar to their Divi website. It displays instant search results as users type, improving site navigation and content discovery without reloading the page.

## Content Tab

### **Search Form**

- Show Input Icon: Display an icon inside the search field.
- Input Icon: Select the icon for the search field.
- Placeholder Text: Define placeholder text inside the search field.
- Show Submit Button: Enable or disable the submit button.
- Submit Button Icon: Choose an icon for the submit button.
- Submit Button Text: Set the label for the submit button.
- Show Categories List: Display categories to refine search results.
- Taxonomy: Choose categories for filtering.
- Select Placeholder: Define placeholder for category dropdown.

### **Search Query**

- Source: Choose content types (posts, pages, media, projects).
- Order: Set the order of search results.
- Order by: Choose sorting criteria.
- Posts Per Page: Set the number of posts per page.
- Posts Number: Limit the number of posts in results.

### **Results Area**

- Number of Columns: Set the number of columns for results.
- Show Post Thumbnail: Toggle visibility of thumbnails in results.
- Thumbnail Size: Define the size of thumbnails.
- Placeholder Image: Set an image for posts without thumbnails.
- Content Source: Choose whether to show excerpts or full content.
- Content Length: Define the content length displayed in the results.

- **Input Field**: Style the search input area (background, border, padding).
- **Input Field Text**: Style the text in the search field (font size, color).
- **Submit Button**: Style the submit button (color, padding, hover effects).
- **Categories List**: Style the categories list (color, font size, spacing).
- **Results Area**: Style the search results area (background color, padding).
- **Results Item**: Style individual search results (layout, borders, spacing).
- **Results Item Thumb**: Style thumbnail images (size, border, spacing).
- **Results Item Text**: Style the text (title, excerpt).
