# Breadcrumb Trail

The **Breadcrumb Trail** module adds a clear navigation path showing where a visitor is within your site. It can output **schema.org BreadcrumbList** markup so search engines display the trail in results.

## How to add the Breadcrumb Trail module

1. Add the **Breadcrumb Trail** module near the top of a page or template.
2. Set the home label and separator.
3. Toggle the schema output and style the trail in the Design tab.

- **Home Text** — the label for the home link.
- **Separator** — the character between items (e.g. › • | →).
- **Show Home Link** and **Show Current Page**.
- **Output BreadcrumbList Schema** — add schema.org structured data for SEO.

- **Alignment** — Left, Center, or Right.
- **Link Color**, **Current Page Color**, and **Separator Color**.

Use the standard **Text** and **Spacing** panels to set the font and spacing of the trail.

## Tip

Add the module to a Divi Theme Builder template (e.g. your post or archive template) so every page shows a consistent breadcrumb trail automatically.
