# Modal Popup

The **Modal Popup** module opens any content in a click- or load-triggered popup — great for sign-up forms, video, announcements, or embedding a saved Divi layout.

## How to add the Modal Popup module

1. Add a section and row, then add the **Modal Popup** module.
2. Choose the content source and set the trigger label.
3. Configure how and when the popup opens under the Behavior toggle.

## Content

### Popup Content

- **Content Source** — Text/Media or a Saved Layout/Post.
- **Choose Layout / Post** — pick a published Divi Library layout, page, or post.
- **Popup Title** and **Popup Content** — the heading and body shown inside.

### Trigger

- **Trigger Text** — the label on the button that opens the popup.
- **Trigger Alignment** — Left, Center, or Right.

### Behavior

- **Open Popup On** — Trigger Click or Page Load (with a **Page Load Delay**).
- **Open Animation** (Fade, Zoom, Slide) and **Animation Speed**.
- **Popup Size** (Small/Medium/Large) and **Vertical Position** (Center/Top).
- **Close on Overlay Click**, **Close on Escape Key**, and **Show Close Button**.

## Design

- **Box** — a **Custom Max Width** to override the size preset.
- **Overlay** — **Overlay Color** and **Overlay Blur** (frosted-glass effect).
- **Close Button** — icon color/size, background, shape (Plain/Circle), and position (Inside/Outside).

## Tip

Set **Content Source** to **Saved Layout** to reuse a single popup design across many pages — edit it once in the Divi Library and every popup updates.
