Native Divi 5 ModulePro

Divi Smart Heading

Style headings down to the last detail — gradients, spacing, and more.

Why use the Divi Smart Heading module?

A heading is rarely one uniform colour in modern design: a plain lead-in word, a bold emphasised phrase, and a plain word after it. Building that in stock Divi means manual spans and inline styles inside a text module.

Smart Heading is three parts in one module: a prefix, a centre phrase and a suffix, each with its own font group, plus an optional large watermark word behind the whole thing.

The heading beside this is the live module.

Built for Divi 5 .

Questions people ask first

Short answers, all of them checked against what the module actually does.

Is the Smart Heading module free? No. It ships in Divi Torque Pro. The free plugin does not include it.Does it need Divi 5?It is a native Divi 5 module. A Divi 4 layout using the same module converts across, since it shares the same shortcode.Do I have to use the prefix and suffix? No. Both are optional. A heading with only the centre text filled in renders as a normal single-colour heading. Is the background watermark an image? No. It is text, rendered large and low-contrast behind the heading, with its own font group. Can the heading be a link?Yes. A link URL field wraps the whole heading, including all three parts, in one anchor. Can each part animate or use a gradient? No. Smart Heading is a static, three-part heading. A gradient fill on one word is what the Gradient Heading module does instead.
