Why use the Divi Google Reviews module?
The reviews people trust most are the ones they can go and check. A screenshot of a five-star rating proves nothing; the same review pulled from your Google Business Profile, with the reviewer’s name and the date on it, does the work.
This module connects your business once, stores the reviews on your own site, and renders them as a list, a grid, a carousel or a marquee. Nothing is fetched from Google while someone is waiting for the page.

Take the card apart
Name, avatar, date, star rating and the Google mark are five separate switches. Turning four of them off leaves the words, which is often all a testimonial strip needs.

Is the Google Reviews module free?No. It ships in Divi Torque Pro. The free plugin does not include it.Does it call Google on every page load?No. Reviews are stored in your own database and refreshed from the dashboard, so a page view is a database read. That is also why the module keeps working if Google is slow.Can I show reviews for a business I do not own?You connect a business by its Google Place ID, so technically yes, but the reviews are someone else’s. Only use it for a business you represent.Can I hide the one-star reviews?No. There is no rating filter and no sorting control. The module shows the most recent reviews for the business, up to the number you set.Should I turn on the schema markup?Only when the reviews are about the page they are on, which usually means your own business or service page. Review structured data is meant to describe the subject of the page, so it does not belong on a page about something else.Does it show the owner’s replies?No. The card carries the reviewer, the rating, the date and the review text. Replies are not displayed.
