Native Divi 5 ModulePro

Divi Masonry Gallery

Pinterest-style masonry image galleries.

Why use the Divi Masonry Gallery module?

A true masonry grid packs images at their natural proportions instead of forcing every tile to the same height, and the WordPress Gallery block does not do this: rows lock to the tallest image in each row, leaving gaps.

Masonry Gallery reads a set of media library images and lays them out with a real masonry engine. Column count, gutter, and how each image opens are all module settings.

This is the live module, reading real images from the media library.

See the Divi Masonry Gallery in action

Every image below is the live module reading real media library files, not a designed mockup. This one is three columns with a lightbox.

Three columns, lightbox

Nine images, natural proportions, click to open the lightbox.

Two columns, larger gutter

Fewer columns and more space between images changes the whole feel of the grid without touching the images themselves.

Two columns

A wider gutter, zoom animation on the lightbox.

Building one takes about a minute

Three steps, and none of them involve custom CSS.

1Drop in the moduleAdd Masonry Gallery to any row. It arrives with an empty image set.2Select the imagesChoose images from the media library the same way as any Divi gallery field.3Set columns and the click behaviourBoth are in the Content panel, applying to the whole grid at once.

Questions people ask first

Short answers, all of them checked against what the module actually does.

Is the Masonry Gallery module free? No. It ships in Divi Torque Pro. The free plugin does not include it.Does it need Divi 5?It is a native Divi 5 module. A Divi 4 layout using the same module converts across, since it shares the same shortcode. Can I add a caption under each image? Not from inside the module. Captions and alt text come from the media library item itself, not a per-image field here.Does it support video? No. Only images. There is no mixed media or video support. Can rows be forced to equal height instead of masonry? No. The layout is genuinely masonry: images keep their natural proportions rather than being cropped to match. Can clicking an image go somewhere other than a lightbox?Yes. Link To can point to the WordPress attachment page or the raw media file instead of opening a lightbox, or be turned off entirely.
