Why use the Divi Accessibility Inspector?
Divi Torque Pro flags structural accessibility problems on your published pages: autoplay carousels with no pause control, missing image alt text, skipped heading levels, placeholder-only form labels, and icon-only controls with no accessible name.
Every check reads real, saved page content. Never a live render, never an outbound request.
At a glance
5 structural checks
Default state
Off until you switch it on
How it works
Reads saved content, no live requests
Built to be right, not exhaustive
Reads real content
Every check runs against what's actually saved in your pages, never a guess or a live render.
Off until you want it
Ships disabled. Turn it on in Settings > Quality when you're ready to look.
No live requests
Nothing is fetched, tracked or sent anywhere. The scan runs on your own server.
Five checks, not fifty
We'd rather ship five checks that are always right than ten that sometimes guess.
Everything the Divi Accessibility Inspector does
Five checks, each reading real saved data on your page.
Autoplay with no pause controlA carousel or slider that autoplays with only mouse-hover as a way to stop it — a real barrier for keyboard and touch users (WCAG 2.2.2).Missing image alt textA Torque module with an image configured and no alt text set.Heading-level skipsHeading levels that jump a step, e.g. straight from H2 to H4, breaking the outline screen-reader users navigate by.Placeholder-only labelsA search field with no visible or screen-reader label, relying only on placeholder text that disappears once typing starts.Icon-only controls, no accessible nameA button showing only an icon, with no text and no aria-label.
What it doesn't check, on purposeColor contrast (Divi's global colors resolve through Divi's own styling engine, not something reliably read from saved content), full ARIA-state and focus-order testing (that needs a real render, not a content scan), and reduced-motion handling are all out of scope today.

Three real findings, the kind the report actually surfaces.
CAROUSEL
Autoplay carousel found with no pause control — keyboard users can't stop it.
IMAGE
3 images across 2 pages are missing alt text.
HEADING
Heading level skips from H2 straight to H4 on the About page.
Turn it on in three steps
STEP 1
Open Settings > Quality in wp-admin.
STEP 2
Switch on the Accessibility Inspector — it's off by default.
STEP 3
Open the report and fix what it flags, right from the list.
