Native Divi 5 ModuleFree

Divi Animated Text

Capture attention with dynamic text animations.

Why use the Divi Animated Text module?

A rotating headline is usually a plugin of its own, or a hand-rolled script pasted into a code module. Animated Text is a Divi module: three animation styles, a prefix and a suffix that stay still, and a middle phrase that changes.

Typed types and deletes each word one letter at a time. Tilt swaps whole words with an animate.css style transition. Slide moves the next word in and the last one out. All three take the same prefix, words list and suffix.

The line beside this is the live module, typing on a loop.

Building one takes about a minute

Three steps, and none of them involve custom CSS.

1Drop in the moduleAdd Animated Text to any row. It arrives with a prefix, one word, and a suffix already in place.2List the wordsThe Content panel takes the prefix, a pipe-separated list of words, and the suffix.3Pick the style and the timingThe Design tab holds the animation type, and each type shows only the timing controls it uses.

Questions people ask first

Short answers, all of them checked against what the module actually does.

Is the Animated Text module free?Yes. It ships in Divi Torque Lite on WordPress.org. Nothing on this page is behind the paid plugin.Does it need Divi 5?It is a native Divi 5 module. A Divi 4 layout using the same module converts across, since it shares the same shortcode. Can the prefix or suffix animate too?No. Only the middle phrase changes. The prefix and suffix are static text either side of it.Can I turn off the loop so it stops after the last word?Yes, for the Typed style. Loop is a single toggle; turning it off types through the list once and stops.Do tilt and slide fade between words?Tilt uses whichever animate.css style you pick for entrance and exit, which can look like a fade if you choose a fade style. Slide moves the next word in and the last one out; it does not cross-fade.Can each word have its own colour? No. There is one stroke colour for the whole animated phrase, not per word.
