Native Divi 5 Module
Divi Image Zoom
Zoom into image detail on hover.
Ask AI about the Divi Image Zoom module
Why use the Divi Image Zoom module?
A product or detail photo benefits from letting a visitor look closer, and a plain CSS hover-scale just enlarges the same low-resolution file, which looks soft up close.
Image Zoom takes two files: the image shown at rest, and a separate, higher-resolution image shown inside a magnifying lens on hover. The zoomed view is genuinely sharper because it is a different file, not a stretched one.

What you get out of it

Questions people ask first
Short answers, all of them checked against what the module actually does.
Is the Image Zoom module included in Divi Torque Pro?Yes. It is a Divi Torque Pro module, included in every plan.Does it need Divi 5?It is a native Divi 5 module. A Divi 4 layout using the same module converts across, since it shares the same shortcode.Does it work on touch devices? The interaction is hover-based. There is no dedicated tap or pinch-to-zoom mode for touch devices. Can I use the same image for both the small and large fields?Yes, but the zoom will look softer, since the lens is then just enlarging the same resolution rather than showing genuinely sharper detail.Does it generate the large image automatically? No. Small Image and Large Image are uploaded separately. Can the lens be square instead of the image's aspect ratio?Magnify Width and Height are set independently, so the lens shape does not have to match the image's own proportions.
