Yelp Reviews

The Yelp Reviews module turns your Yelp business reviews into on-page social proof, displaying real ratings and comments styled to match your Divi site.

How to add the Yelp Reviews module

1. Create a Yelp Fusion API key at the Yelp developer portal.
2. Add the Yelp Reviews module and paste your API key and business ID.
3. Choose how many reviews to show and style them.

Content

Yelp Connection

• API Key — your Yelp Fusion API key.
• Business ID / URL — the Yelp business whose reviews you want to show.
• Number of Reviews and Sort Order. Yelp returns at most 3 reviews, so the module accepts 1 to 3.

Elements

• Toggle the reviewer photo, name, rating, date, and review text.
• Optionally show the overall business rating and a "View on Yelp" link.

API access and limits

The module calls Yelp's Fusion API from your server, so your API key never reaches the browser. A few Yelp-side rules shape what it can show:

• Yelp's reviews endpoint returns at most 3 review excerpts per business, and each excerpt is truncated by Yelp. That is a Yelp limit, not a module setting.
• Your API key must have access to the Fusion reviews endpoint. Check your app's plan and permissions in the Yelp developer portal if reviews do not load.
• Successful results are cached for 12 hours, so a new review can take up to half a day to appear.
• If the front end shows nothing at all, re-check the API key and the business ID or URL. The module renders an empty list when Yelp rejects the request.

Tip

Feature your highest-rated reviews near a call to action — social proof placed next to a "Book now" or "Get a quote" button lifts conversions.
