Advanced Testimonial Card

Advanced Testimonial Card displays one customer quote with the reviewer's photo, name, title and star rating. Its one job is a single, styled testimonial. For a rotating set of testimonials, use a slider module instead.

How to add the Advanced Testimonial Card module

  1. Open the Visual Builder and add a section and row.
  2. Search for "Advanced Testimonial Card" and add the module.
  3. Enter the reviewer name, title and testimonial in the Content group.

Content

Content group

  • Reviewer Image: The reviewer's photo.
  • Image Alt Text: Alternative text for the photo.
  • Reviewer Name and Title: The name and role or company.
  • Use Rating: On by default.
  • Rating: 1 to 5. Default is 5.
  • Testimonial: The quote, as rich text.
  • Upload Custom Quote Icon: Off by default. Uses your own image for the quote icon.
  • Select Quote Icon: Icon 1 to Icon 5. Default is Icon 5.
  • Upload Quote Icon Image: The custom quote icon image.

Elements group

  • Hide Quote Icon: On by default, so the quote icon is hidden until you turn this off.
  • Reviewer Position: Top (default) or Bottom.
  • Reviewer Image Position: Top, Left, Right, Absolute or Relative to Reviewer. Default is Relative to Reviewer.
  • Rating Position: Default, Bottom or Relative to Reviewer. Default is Bottom.
  • Review Design: Normal (default) or Bubble.
  • Personal Website URL: The reviewer's website.
  • Company URL: The reviewer's company website.
  • Open Links In New Tab: Off by default.

Design

General group

  • Content Alignment: Left, Center (default) or Right.
  • Content Padding: Default 30px on all sides.

Quote Icon group

  • Icon Placement: Default, Absolute or Background. Default is Background.
  • Icon Alignment: Left, Center (default) or Right.
  • Icon Color: Default #333.
  • Icon Background and Custom Icon Background: Background colors for the icon.
  • Icon Size: Default 70px.
  • Icon Opacity: Default .2.
  • Icon Padding: Default 0px on all sides.
  • Icon Spacing Top: Default 40px. Icon Spacing Bottom: Default 5px.
  • Icon Position: Left Top, Left Bottom, Right Top (default) or Right Bottom. Used with Absolute placement.
  • Use Horizontal Position Center, Horizontal Offset (15px), Use Vertical Position Center and Vertical Offset (15px): Fine positioning for the icon.
  • Border: Border and radius options for the icon.

Reviewer Image group

  • Image Placement: Left Top (default), Left Bottom, Right Top or Right Bottom. Applies only when the image position is Absolute.
  • Image Placement (relative): Top (default), Left or Right. Applies only when the image position is Relative to Reviewer.
  • Use Horizontal Position Center, Image Offset X (50%), Use Vertical Position Center and Image Offset Y (0px).
  • Image Spacing Left/Right: Default 15px.
  • Image Width and Image Height: Size of the photo.
  • Image Spacing Top and Image Spacing Bottom: Default 10px each.
  • Border: Border and radius options for the photo.

Rating group

  • Rating Spacing Top and Rating Spacing Bottom: Default 0px each.
  • Stars Size: Default 20px.
  • Stars Color: Default #F3B325.
  • Stars Spacing Between: Default 5px.

Name Text, Title Text and Review Text groups

Font settings for each text. Name Text has Name Spacing Bottom (5px). Title Text has Title Spacing Bottom (5px). Review Text has Review Spacing Top (10px) and Review Spacing Bottom (20px).

Bubble group

Used when Review Design is Bubble.

  • Bubble Background: Default #efefef.
  • Bubble Padding: Default 15px on all sides.
  • Bubble Border Radius: Default 6px on each corner.
  • Arrow Color: Default #efefef.
  • Arrow Placement: Left, Right or Center (default).
  • Arrow Custom Position: Default 15px.

FAQ

Why don't I see the quote icon?

Hide Quote Icon is on by default. Turn it off in the Elements group to show the quote icon.

Does Advanced Testimonial Card work in Divi 4 and Divi 5?

The plugin includes a Divi 4 version and a native Divi 5 module with the same name. Divi 4 layouts convert to the Divi 5 module. This page describes the Divi 5 settings.

Can I show several testimonials in a slider?

This module shows one testimonial. Add one module per testimonial, or use a testimonial slider module for a carousel.
