SMTP Mailer

The Divi Mailer extension in Divi Torque replaces standard SMTP plugins, providing an easy setup to route WordPress emails through trusted SMTP providers. This ensures reliable delivery and boosts engagement with your emails.

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Divi Torque from the menu and select Mailer to configure the Divi Mailer.

Sender Settings

  • From Email: Enter the email address for all outgoing messages. Use an address on your own domain, so it can pass your domain's SPF and DKIM checks. It does not need to match any WordPress user account.
  • From Name: Set the sender's name to personalize emails and improve engagement.

SMTP Configuration

Set up your SMTP settings for direct email sending:

  • SMTP Host: Enter the SMTP server address.
  • SMTP Port: Set the port for connecting to the SMTP server.
  • Secure: Choose None, SSL, or TLS (TLS recommended).
  • Username: Enter the username from your SMTP provider. This is often your full email address, or an API token name for providers like Postmark or SendGrid.
  • Password: Enter the password or API key your SMTP provider issued for this username. A few providers use one token for both fields, but most do not. This is never your WordPress password.
  • Is Active: Toggle to deactivate Divi Mailer without disabling Divi Torque Pro.
  • Save Settings: Save your changes.

Send Test Email

Verify your SMTP setup by sending a test email:

  • Email Address: Enter the recipient's email.
  • Send Test: Click to send a test email and ensure your configuration works.
