Yelp Reviews

The Yelp Reviews module shows reviews of a Yelp business on your page. Reviews come from the Yelp Fusion API. The module shows up to three reviews.

How to add the Yelp Reviews module

1. Create a Yelp Fusion API key in the Yelp developer portal.
2. Add the Yelp Reviews module.
3. In the Content tab, open the Yelp group. Paste your key and the business ID or alias.
4. Choose how many reviews to show and which details to display.

Content

Yelp

• Yelp Fusion API Key: Your Yelp Fusion API key.
• Business ID or alias: The Yelp business ID or alias. The alias is the last part of the business URL, for example the part after /biz/. A full URL does not work.
• Number of Reviews: From 1 to 3. The default is 3.

Display

• Show Avatar: On by default.
• Show Reviewer Name: On by default.
• Show Rating: On by default. Shows the star rating of each review.
• Show Date: Off by default. The date appears like "March 4, 2026".

The review text is always shown. The reviewer's avatar and name link to the review on Yelp and open in a new tab.

How the module gets reviews

• The module asks Yelp for reviews from your server when the page is generated, using Yelp's own sort order. There is no sort setting.
• The module shows at most 3 reviews, which is the limit set in the module.
• Results are cached for 12 hours for each business and review count. A new review can take up to 12 hours to appear.
• If the API key or the business ID is empty, or Yelp does not return a successful response, the module shows nothing. Failed requests are not cached, so the module tries again on the next page load.
• The API key is saved in the module settings, so it is visible to anyone who can edit the page.

• Alignment: Left, Center or Right. The default is Left. It aligns the contents of each review card.
