Advanced Business Hours

Advanced Business Hours lists when your business is open. Its one job is a clean table of days and times, with a title above it. You add one child item per row.

How to add the Advanced Business Hours module

  1. Open the Visual Builder and add a section and row.
  2. Search for "Advanced Business Hours" and add the module.
  3. Click the plus icon inside the module to add a Business Hour item for each row.
  4. In each item, enter the Day (for example "Monday") and the Time (for example "9:00 AM - 5:00 PM").

The day and time are plain text. The module does not work out whether you are open right now.

Content

Settings group (parent module)

  • Show Title: On by default.
  • Title: The heading above the rows. It supports dynamic content.
  • Item Spacing Bottom: Space under each row. Default 25px.
  • Show Text Separator: On by default. Shows a separator between the day and the time.
  • Show Item Divider: Off by default. Shows a divider under each row.
  • Divider Type: Solid (default), Double, Dotted, Dashed, Curved or Zigzag.
  • Divider Color: Default #dddddd.
  • Divider Weight: Default 1px.
  • Divider Height: Default 10px.

Business Hour item

Open an item and go to the Content tab, Content group.

  • Day: The day label.
  • Time: The time text.

Design

Parent module

  • General group: Day Text Width (default auto), Time Text Width (default auto), Padding (0px on all sides), plus Background, Border and Box Shadow for the rows.
  • Title group: Font settings, Padding (0px on all sides), Spacing Bottom (default 25px), Background and Border.
  • Day Text group: Font settings for the day.
  • Time Text group: Font settings for the time.
  • Separator group: Separator Type (Solid by default; Double, Dotted, Dashed, Curved and Zigzag also available), Separator Spacing (15px), Separator Color (#dddddd), Separator Weight (1px) and Separator Height (10px).

Business Hour item

  • Item group: Background, Border, Box Shadow and Spacing for one row.
  • Day Text and Time Text groups: Font settings for this row only.
  • Separator group: Separator Type, defaulting to Relative to Parent, which follows the parent module settings. Choose another type to override it for this row. Separator Spacing (15px), Separator Color (#dddddd), Separator Weight (1px) and Separator Height (10px).

FAQ

Does Advanced Business Hours work in Divi 4 and Divi 5?

The plugin includes a Divi 4 version and a native Divi 5 module with the same name. Divi 4 layouts convert to the Divi 5 module. This page describes the Divi 5 settings.

Can I show a different separator on one row?

Yes. Open the row's Business Hour item, go to the Design tab, Separator group, and choose a type other than Relative to Parent.

Does the module show an open or closed status?

No. Each row is free text.
