Breadcrumb Trail
Show visitors where they are in your site with a breadcrumb trail. The trail builds itself from the current page and can include schema.org BreadcrumbList markup.
Breadcrumb Trail shows visitors where they are in your site. The trail builds itself from the page it appears on. It can also output schema.org BreadcrumbList markup so search engines can read the trail. This module works in Divi 5.
How to add the Breadcrumb Trail module
- Add the Breadcrumb Trail module near the top of a page, or in a Theme Builder template.
- Set the Home Text and the Separator.
- Choose whether to show the home link, the current page, and the schema output.
- Style the trail in the Design tab.
How the trail is built
You do not add the items by hand. The module reads the page it is on.
- Posts: Home, the post's first category with its parent categories, then the post.
- Pages: Home, the parent pages, then the page.
- Custom post types: Home, the post type archive (when the post type has one), then the item.
- Category, tag, and other term archives: Home, parent terms, then the term.
- Search, author, 404, and other archives: Home, then a single item for the current view.

Tip
Add the module to a Divi Theme Builder template, such as your post or archive template, so every page shows a consistent trail.
