Post Grid

The Post Grid module shows your posts or pages in a grid or a masonry layout. Each card can show an image, title, meta, excerpt and Read More link. You can add a category or tag filter bar and paginate the results.

Content

Query

Post Type: Post or Page. The default is Post.
Posts Per Page: The default is 10.
Offset: Skips this many posts. The default is 0.
Order: Ascending or Descending. The default is Descending.
Order By: Date, Title, Random, Comment Count or Menu Order. The default is Date.
Ignore Sticky Posts: On by default.
Exclude Current Post: Off by default. Hides the page's own post from the grid.
Include By: None, Post Parent or Author. Choosing Author shows an Author field. Choosing Post Parent shows a Parent Post ID field and lists only the children of that post.
Filter by Category and Category Rule: Pick categories and choose Include selected or Exclude selected.
Filter by Tag and Tag Rule: The same for tags.

Elements

Image

Image Position: Top, Background or None. The default is Top.
Image Size: Thumbnail, Medium, Medium Large, Large or Full. The default is Medium Large.
Fixed Image Ratio and Ratio: Keep every image at the same ratio. Off by default.
Link Image: Links the featured image to the post. Off by default.

Show New Badge: Off by default. Draws a badge on recent posts.
New Badge Text: The default is "New".
Day Limit for New Badge: Posts newer than this many days get the badge. The default is 7.

Title

Show Title: On by default.
Link Title: On by default.

Excerpt

Show Excerpt: On by default.
Excerpt Length: The number of words. The default is 25.

Show Read More: On by default.
Read More Text: The default is "Read More".
Show Read More Icon: Off by default.
Read More Icon: The icon to show.
Icon Position: Before or After. The default is After.

Filters

Show Filters: Off by default. Shows a filter bar above the grid.
Filter By: Category or Tag. The default is Category.
All Text: The label of the "All" button. The default is "All".

Pagination

Pagination: None, Numbers or Infinite Scroll. The default is None.
Numbers Type: Ajax or Normal. The default is Ajax.
Max Pages: The most pages to show. The default is 5.
Infinite Trigger: Scroll or Button. The default is Scroll.
Hide Loading Animation: Hides the spinner shown while the next page loads.

Design

Layout

Card Layout: Classic or Modern. The default is Classic.
Grid Type: Grid or Masonry. The default is Grid.
Columns: The default is 3.
Gutter: The space between cards. The default is 20px.

Image

Background Color, Padding, Image Overlay and Overlay Opacity. The overlay applies to images in the Background position. Padding is ignored while Fixed Image Ratio is on.

Content

Content Background and Content Padding.

Title, Content (excerpt text), Meta and Button

Font and style settings for the title, the excerpt, the meta line and the Read More button. The Button group also has Top Spacing.

Filters

Background Color, Padding, Spacing, Alignment, Border Radius, Items Background Color, Items Padding, Items Spacing, Active Background Color and Active Text Color for the filter bar.

Pagination

Background Color, Spacing, Height, Width, Border Radius, Active Background Color, Active Text Color, Next/Prev Border Radius and Next/Prev Height for the page buttons.
