Fancy Text

Fancy Text draws attention to a key phrase with one of three effects: a highlight shape, a gradient fill, or rotating words. Optional static text can sit before and after it. This module works in Divi 5.

How to add the Fancy Text module

1. Add a section and row, then add the Fancy Text module.
2. Enter the before and after text, and the fancy text or the rotating words.
3. Pick a Fancy Effect and style it in the Design tab.

Open the module settings, go to the Content tab, and open the Content group.

• Before Text and After Text: Static text around the fancy text.
• Fancy Text: The highlighted or gradient phrase.
• Rotating Words: One word or phrase per line, or separated by a pipe. They cycle in place.
• Fancy Effect: Highlight Shape (default), Gradient Text, or Rotating Words.
• HTML Tag: H1 to H6, Paragraph, or Span. The default is H2.
• Rotate Animation: Typing, Fade, Fade Up (default), Zoom, or Swing.
• Rotate Speed: How long each word shows before it changes. Range 500 to 8000ms, default 2000.

• Text Alignment: Left (default), Center, or Right.

Fancy Text

• Fancy Text Color: Ignored for the gradient effect.
• Highlight Shape: Marker (default), Underline, Thick Underline, Box, Circle, or Strikethrough.
• Highlight Color: The color of the shape.
• Gradient Start, Gradient End, and Gradient Angle (default 90deg): Used by the Gradient Text effect.
• Typing Cursor Color: The color of the blinking cursor for the Typing animation.

Tip

Use the Rotating Words effect in a hero headline, for example "Build faster / smarter / together". Keep each word a similar length so the layout does not jump as they cycle.
