Sharing Buttons
The Sharing Buttons extension lets readers share your content across the social web. It adds an inline share bar to your posts, plus an optional floating bar, and you configure everything from one settings page with a live preview beside the form.
How to enable Sharing Buttons
- In the WordPress admin, go to Divi Torque > Sharing Buttons.
- Turn on the Share buttons master switch. Off means nothing renders and no CSS or JS is loaded.
- Under Show on, pick the post types that should get share buttons. They appear on single posts of the types you choose.
Inline share bar
- Show the inline bar: sits with the post content, in the flow of the page.
- Position: Above content, Below content, or Both.
- Show a heading with editable Heading text, for example "Share this post".
- Networks: pick and order the buttons. Over thirty networks are available, including Facebook, X, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Pinterest, Telegram, Reddit, Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon, Email, Text Message, Copy Link, and Print.
Floating bar
- An optional bar that stays on screen while the visitor scrolls.
- Side: Left or Right, with a vertical Offset.
- It has its own network selection, so the floating bar can show fewer buttons than the inline bar.
Appearance
- Display: icon only, label only, or both.
- Colors: each network's brand color, or one custom background and icon color for a uniform bar.
- Shape: Square, Rounded, or Circle.
- Size: Small, Medium, or Large.
Mobile and advanced
- Show or hide the inline and floating bars on small screens, with a configurable breakpoint.
- Open in popup: share links open in a small window instead of a new tab.
- Mastodon instance: the home server the Mastodon button shares through.
Tip
Five or six buttons beat fifteen. Start with the networks your readers actually use, keep Copy Link for everyone else, and watch the live preview while you trim.
