Alert Box

Show a warning, update, or promotion inside your page content. Pick a notice type, add an icon or image, and let visitors dismiss it.

Alert Box shows an important message inside your page content, such as a warning, an update, or a promotion. Choose a notice type, add an icon or an image, and let visitors dismiss the notice.

Content

Text

Open the module settings, go to the Content tab, and open the Text group.

  • Title: The heading of the notice.
  • Description: The notice text. This field uses the Divi text editor.

Settings

Go to the Content tab and open the Settings group.

  • Use Icon: On by default. When on, the notice shows an icon. When off, it shows an image instead.
  • Select Icon: The icon to show when Use Icon is on.
  • Upload Image: The image to show when Use Icon is off.
  • Image Alt: The alt text for that image.
  • Type: Danger (default), Warning, Info, Light, Dark, or Light Dark. Each type is a ready-made color layout.
  • Show Dismiss Button: On by default. Visitors can click the button to fade out and hide the notice. The notice comes back the next time the page loads.
  • Content Vertical Alignment: Top, Center (default), or Bottom. This aligns the icon against the text.

Design

Go to the Design tab.

  • Title Text and Body Text: Font settings for the title and the description.
  • Icon: Icon Size (default 40px), Icon Color, and Icon Spacing Gap (default 20px). Turn on Use Icon Box to place the icon in a box, then set Icon Box Background, Icon Box Width (default 80px), and Icon Box Height (default 80px).
  • Icon Box Border: Border settings for the icon box.
  • Dismiss: Dismiss Size (default 22px), Dismiss Color, and Dismiss Spacing Gap (default 20px).
  • Title: Title Spacing Bottom (default 0px).

The module also has the standard Divi options for sizing, spacing, border, box shadow, filters, transform, and animation.
